We have been involved with the breeding, caring and showing of Terriers for over thirty years. The last twenty years have involved our beloved Breed - Kerry Blue Terriers. We began our journey into the world of Terriers with four of the best tour guides anyone could possibly have -  Monty Pearson, Dorothy Turner, Ray and Lou Perry. Grooming concepts were taught to us by the legendary Monty Pearson, creator of the universally used Pearson stripping knives, and the master scissor groomer - Raymond Perry of the famed Tontine Kennels.  Breeding theory was learned from the famous Airedale Breeder Dorothy Turner of the De AAA suffix as well as from Ray and Lou Perry of Tontine Kerries. Over the past 8 years, Strategis Kerry Blues have won more Best of Breed, Group and Best in Show wins than any other U.S. Kerry Blue Terrier kennel and have been consistently ranked in the top 5 conformation "Breed"rankings. We have multiple Grand Champion title earners - only a few Kennels can claim this at this time.
